Human Resource Dev Assistant

Overview:

Our client is currently seeking a Human Resource Development Assistant who would play a key role in supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of employee development initiatives. This position ensures that training programs, performance management systems, and career development pathways align with organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Development Support

  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external training programs, workshops, and seminars.
  • Maintain training records and assist in evaluating program effectiveness.
  • Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.

Performance & Talent Management

  • Assist in tracking performance review cycles and compiling feedback summaries.
  • Help maintain competency frameworks and career progression tools.
  • Support succession planning efforts by updating talent matrices and development plans.

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain employee development databases and generate reports on training metrics.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits, compliance, and internal reviews.

Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Help organize employee recognition programs and engagement initiatives.
  • Draft internal communications related to HR development activities.

Administrative Support

  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes for HR development-related sessions.
  • Manage correspondence with training vendors and consultants.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR or training coordination preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS or LMS systems is a plus.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
