Our client in the construction industry is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Administrative Assistant for a one-year contract.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Construction Sector Location: Freeport

Reports To: Managing Director
Employment Type: Full-Time / One-Year Contract

Salary Range:$6500-9000- Based on experience

Job Summary:

A reliable and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide direct support to the Managing Director in a dynamic construction environment. This role involves coordinating administrative tasks, managing communications, and supporting project operations across both local and regional sites. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities with discretion and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide administrative support to the Managing Director, including scheduling, correspondence, and travel coordination.

· Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation.

· Coordinate meetings, site visits, and regional engagements.

· Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, project records, and company documents.

· Liaise with internal departments, contractors, and external stakeholders.

· Support procurement and invoice processing for administrative and project-related needs.

· Monitor and respond to emails and calls on behalf of the Managing Director when required.

· Track and follow up on project deliverables and deadlines.

· Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and documentation.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field.

· Minimum 2–3 years of administrative experience, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.

Preferred Skills:

· Familiarity with construction project workflows and terminology.

· Experience supporting senior leadership in a multi-project environment.

· Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
