Our client in the Facilities Services Industry is seeking to onboard an Accounts Clerk on Contract.

- Position Title: Accounts Clerk
- Department to Invoice: Finance (Trinidad)
- Reporting Line: Senior Accountant (Guyana)
- Contract Duration: Six (6) months in the first instance
- Monthly Salary: $10K TTD
- Need to be willing to travel
Job Summary:
The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for performing general ledger reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including but not limited to cash, bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances identified during the reconciliation process.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information for reconciliations.
- Prepare and present reconciliation reports to management.
- Adhere to company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- ACCA Level 2 minimum
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role with a focus on general ledger reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
