Accounts Clerk
The Accounts Clerk, with a strong foundation in mathematics, is responsible for supporting the daily financial, administrative, and inventory operations of the organization. This role includes managing petty cash, collections/arrears, bookkeeping, and inventory tracking, while also providing general office support.
Location: Fernandes Compound, EMR, POS
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am – 4:30pm
Salary: $5,500 – $6,000
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties

Manage petty cash transactions and reconcile balances.

Assist with collections and follow-up on arrears.

Perform daily bookkeeping and data entry tasks.

Prepare banking documents, including deposits.

Process transactions using accounting software AccountEdge.
Inventory Management

Maintain and update inventory records.

Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Track stock levels, reorder supplies, and update databases.
Administrative Support

Serve as the first contact on incoming phone calls, ensuring professional phone etiquette..

Filing, document control, and office organization.

Correspondence, and general office duties.
Qualifications:

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
